Lets Get CookingLets Get Cookingis a programme designed to promote healthy eating and cookery skills to families, children and communities across England through a network of 5000 cooking clubs. It is funded by the Big Lottery Fund, in conjunction with the School Food Trust, Princes Trust and the Royal Society for Public Health and it is hoped that by the end of the 5 year programme over 1 million people will increase their cookery and food preparation skills as a result of skills they have learnt from
Lets Get Cooking.
Lets Get Cookingstaff and regional coordinators provide support, assistance and advice to local cooking clubs and can put club members in touch with volunteers for extra helpp with jobs such as shopping or helping out a special organised events. All the cooking clubs much follow the
Lets Get Cookingguidelines and they are also supplied with start up packs, wall charts, food safety advice and child friendly recipes.
